All our teachers hold a university degree in the language they teach, with postgraduate degrees and many years of teaching experience. Most teachers are native speakers of the language.
In addition to their skills and experience, the teachers have great respect for each student, are creative, have a pleasant personality and are highly motivated.
Providing high quality administrative services is a very important goal for Interlead and therefore we maintain a well-trained administration team that deals with and resolves all routine day-to-day issues so that teachers and students can focus solely on language learning.
Mrs Efi Xenopoulou Pissouriou is the Founder and Director of Interlead Language Experts as well as a Teacher of English language and Literature. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a Master’s degree (MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from the University of Reading in the UK, and a Diploma in French from the University of Le Mirail in Toulouse, France.
“I think that learning can become much more effective and enjoyable if a teacher employs methods that require intense and creative participation of the student such as dialogues, educational videos, the use of computers, writing on topics that interest them, conversation.”
“All these years have shown me something that I believed in right from the start: in education you can not only think as a business. Education is a vocation and you can’t survive if you don’t honestly love what you do. And you can’t teach if you don’t build a personal relationship with a student. Only then you can open the door of teaching. The job of the teacher, in the broadest sense, for me is a title of honor and never limited to the teaching of any subject. The teacher, is above all a mentor.”

Katerina C. – English Teacher
Since graduating from University in the UK I have used my organizational and people skills to work and volunteer over three continents in the areas of education, creative arts and the environment. What connects these diverse experiences is the desire to educate and inspire and a commitment to bringing out the best in myself, and those around me. I have worked with children and young adults for over 15years. Since I moved to Cyprus I have been involved with several grass roots community groups around the island committed to creating opportunities for people to come together to improve themselves, their communities and their environment.
Having been involved in the organization of regenerative agriculture, forest gardening, and environmental education workshops for adults and children, up to date, I continue to co-organize nature play days and activity camps which invite children to come and explore nature and learn to work together and throughout these years I have continued to teach English privately and with groups. Language is such an intrinsic part of our lives and our ability to integrate and form relationships. I bring all this passion and experience to my work with Interlead and enjoy being part of the team here.
Andria L. – Greek Teacher
I was born in Limassol in 1989. I studied Greek Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I also attained my master’s degree in the same field. Since my graduation in 2011, I have worked as a Greek Language and Literature teacher, an assistant librarian, an editor, and translator. At Interlead Language Experts, I have the chance to do what I am passionate about; teach Greek as a foreign language. I love to observe the way people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds learn the Greek language, and how it resonates with them, surprises, or excites them. Being in Cyprus, which has its very own, unique linguistic character, I am also particularly interested in how non-native speakers that live on the island perceive and use the Greek-Cypriot dialect. To me, language and teaching have their most important aspect in common; communication. It is through this interaction that, I believe, “When one teaches, two learn”
