Mrs Efi Xenopoulou Pissouriou

Mrs Efi Xenopoulou Pissouriou is the Founder and Director of Interlead Language Experts

and a dedicated Teacher of English Language and Literature. She holds a BA in English Literature, an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Reading, and a Diploma in French from the University of Toulouse.

With a deep commitment to academic excellence, she believes that learning becomes truly meaningful when students are inspired to participate actively and creatively. Through dialogue, thoughtful writing, the integration of technology, and authentic communication, she cultivates confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine love of language.

For Mrs Xenopoulou Pissouriou, education is not simply a profession, but a vocation rooted in integrity and human connection. She regards the role of the teacher as a title of honour, one that extends beyond subject knowledge to mentorship, guidance, and the shaping of capable, articulate, and globally minded individuals.

Customer service and Marketing team

Our Administration and Marketing team is the driving force behind Interlead’s efficiency and growth. Stefani, a graduate of the University of Cyprus, and Andrea, a graduate of the University of Surrey, lead our administration with professionalism, ensuring daily operations run smoothly so teachers and students can focus on language learning.
Behind the marketing efforts, a talented team of specialists implements strategic campaigns across various media and platforms, handling web design, content creation, advertising, and attracting new clients through digital channels and social media.

Mrs. Andria

English teacher

Mrs. Andria is an English teacher and a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY), holding a degree in English Language and Literature. A member of the Interlead team since 2004, she has taught learners of all ages and levels.

An experienced and dedicated educator, she promotes interactive teaching and active student participation, while continuously enriching her expertise through seminars and workshops in ELT methodology, dyslexia, and learning difficulties.

Mrs. Christina

English teacher

Mrs. Christina teaches English and Spanish and holds a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, as well as a degree in English Studies (Specialization in Translation: English to Greek) from the University of Cyprus.

Experienced in creating innovative learning materials, she delivers lessons that are practical, engaging, and culturally rich. She has taught children and teens, supporting independent learning and exam preparation while fostering confident and effective language use. Her approach emphasises creativity, participation, and meaningful progress across both languages.

Mrs. Maria

English teacher

Mrs. Maria is an English teacher with extensive experience from junior to GCSE level, working in private schools, summer programmes, and language institutes.

She holds a PGCE in English Secondary from University College London, an MA in English and American Literature from the University of Kent, and a BA in English, Language, and Education from the University of Leeds.

Lessons with Mrs. Maria are interactive, academically rigorous, and tailored to build confident communication, analytical skills, and multilingual awareness.

Mrs. Evi

English teacher

Mrs. Evi has been teaching English at Interlead since 2018, guiding children and young teenagers to become confident and expressive communicators. She focuses on creative, supportive, and interactive teaching that helps students actively participate and develop strong communication skills.

She holds an LLB from Lancaster University (UK), a Diploma in Creative Arts from OCA London, and is pursuing further studies in multi-dimensional mastery.

Mr. Alex

English teacher

Mr. Alex is a native English teacher with over ten years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults. Holding a Master’s degree and a CELTA qualification, he delivers dynamic and engaging lessons that combine structured learning with practical communication.

Committed to student progress, he creates supportive environments that build confidence, encourage participation, and ensure steady improvement in both individual and group classes.

Mrs. Debbie

English teacher

Mrs. Debbie is a native English teacher with over eighteen years’ experience in British and international schools. She holds TEFL, PGCE, QTS, a Master’s in Education, and a BA in Art and Design. Her expertise spans English language, literature, SPAG, and Art & Design, with experience supporting SEN learners.

She combines academic rigor with creativity, delivering interactive lessons that inspire engagement, confidence, and measurable progress for students of all ages.

Mrs. Alicia

Spanish teacher

Mrs. Alicia is a Spanish teacher with experience teaching teenagers and adults in both online and in-person classes. She holds specialized training from the Universidad de Salamanca and other certified programs. Skilled in adapting lessons to diverse learner needs, she creates engaging, interactive experiences that foster practical communication, cultural appreciation, and academic progress. Her work emphasizes confidence, participation, and personalised learning in both individual and group settings.

Mrs. Cristina

Spanish teacher

Mrs. Cristina is a native Spanish teacher with over a decade of experience teaching learners of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Her lessons emphasise interactive, practical methods that develop communication skills, exam readiness, and cultural understanding. German teacher

Mrs. Marija is a German teacher, with experience teaching learners of all ages. She holds a Master’s in German Language and Teaching (Hagen Correspondence University) and a Bachelor’s in German Philology (Latvian University).

Fluent in German and Russian, with strong English skills, she integrates digital tools and structured methodology to deliver lessons that are interactive, focused, and tailored to each student’s linguistic and cultural development.

Mrs. Andri

German teacher

Mrs. Andri is a German teacher and long-standing member of the Interlead team since 2004. She holds a Master’s in Linguistics and German Literature from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. With over twenty years of experience, she guides learners towards university, professional, and personal goals. Lessons are practical, engaging, and carefully structured to support skill development, confidence, and measurable achievement across all levels.

Mrs. Roula

French teacher

Mrs. Roula is a French teacher and native speaker, with over twenty years of experience in schools and universities. She holds a degree from the Université Libanaise (Lebanese University), Faculty of Humanities and Philology, as well as a postgraduate degree in French Philology, and successfully prepares students for DELF, IGCSE, and A Level examinations.

Her lessons combine language, literature, and culture, with a focus on interactive engagement and confident communication. She fosters critical thinking, practical application, and an appreciation of the French language across all learning contexts.

Mrs. Svetlana

Greek, Russian, and Business English teacher

Mrs. Svetlana teaches Greek, Russian, and Business English, with well over a decade of experience at Interlead. She specialises in adult learners, corporate clients, and A2 citizenship exam preparation. Lessons are structured, interactive, and results-driven, combining personalised support with professional application. She helps learners develop measurable communication skills, workplace proficiency, and confidence in both personal and professional contexts.

Mrs. Eleana

Greek teacher

Mrs. Eleana is a Greek teacher with over a decade of experience teaching Modern Greek, Classical Studies, and Ancient Greek. She holds a degree from Ionion University, Greece, and is certified by ΚΥΣΑΤΣ. Experienced with adult and corporate learners, she delivers interactive lessons using role play, live conversation, and creative exercises, ensuring measurable progress and confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening across all levels.

Mr. Charalambos

Charalambos is a Greek teacher with over a decade of experience teaching secondary students and adults. He holds a PhD from the University of Cyprus, a Master’s from the University of Birmingham, and a BA in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies. Mr. Nikolas

Nikolas is a Greek teacher with native proficiency in Greek and English, and near-native proficiency in German. He holds a BSc from Frederick University (Cyprus) and an MBA from the University of Nicosia. Experienced in teaching adults and professional learners, Nikolas provides structured, learner-centered lessons that focus on practical communication, clear progression, and preparation for official state exams. Dr. Roberto

Italian teacher

Italian as a Foreign Language Instructor and Head of the Italian Department in secondary schools of the Republic of Cyprus. He holds a PhD in Humanities from the University of Udine, alongside a Master’s in Italian L2 and Intercultural Studies. Over fifteen years, he has served as CELI examiner for the University for Foreigners of Perugia and GCE Edexcel Italian examiner, authored a B1/B2 Italian textbook, presented at international conferences, and taught at Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Udine, combining scholarly rigor with student-focused teaching.

Mrs. Elli

Italian teacher

Mrs. Elli is an Italian Language Teacher with a strong academic background in foreign languages and literatures. She graduated from Università degli Studi di Perugia, specialising in French and English with high distinction, and studied at CIEF – Université Lumière Lyon 2 and Università per Stranieri di Perugia, earning the CELI 5 certification in Italian. Lessons emphasise linguistic competence, cultural insight, and interactive, confidence-building learning for students of all levels.
